| CPV washed their hands of one floundering wind project by flipping it to Iberdrola Renewable Energies USA Ltd. At the time of the sale, CPV Senior Vice President Sean Finnerty gushed about the new owner's "wealth of experience in getting plants constructed." However, the new developer failed to include all of the required documentation with an early permit application, nearly preventing abutters from meeting their deadline to file a protest petition. The project manager said this was "likely an oversight on behalf of the company." This explanation would be a lot more convincing if Iberdrola didn't repeat the lapse just a few months later.
