| CPV told 30 RTMs who attended a private meeting with the company that passage of Article 2 would leave the company with "no means of working with the town." At the same time, organizers of that meeting were publicly claiming that passage of Article 2 "would likely have no effect on the power plant proposal." Despite these glaring discrepancies, the meeting organizer maintains that there was no hidden agenda at the meeting with CPV.
